Not Getting Regular Maintenance
Routine maintenance and check-ups of your car is a lot more important than you might think. This includes everything from paying attention to check engine lights and other warning lights on your dashboard to going to a mechanic for an oil change and tune-up. Even if everything seems fine, don't miss these check-ups. They are done for preventative maintenance so that you can avoid more costly repairs. Failing to Hide a Spare Car Key

When you have a new car, it is important that you keep certain items in the car at all times. This is another thing many new drivers don't think about because they don't have experience with breakdowns. You should have some basic auto repair tools in the trunk, such as a car jack, jumper cables, and a small tool set. Also have extra water in the car at all times, along with supplies like a fully-charged cell phone, flashlight, and extra batteries. Personal items include a blanket, first aid kit, and nonperishable food items.
